Long Island Lesson Program’s Winter Recital

Students and teachers perform after a semester of hard work

On January 29th, the students and teachers in the D’Addario Foundation and Harmony Program‘s Long Island Lesson Program presented their Winter Recital showcasing another semester of hard work in learning their stringed instruments. Students performed impressive works including “Sleigh Ride” (Anderson), “Ukrainian Bell Carol” (Leontovich), “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music (Rodgers), and more.


At the Long Island Program, D’Addario provides:

30+ weeks of free stringed instruments and instruction

3 days of programming during after-school hours and Saturday mornings per week

8 hours per week which amounts to over 200 hours of instruction training each year
