Lesson Program Celebrates Another Successful Year of Music

D'Addario's Long Island Lesson Program presents spring recital on May 17th

After another successful year of providing free orchestral instruments and instruction in the Copiague school district on Long Island, The D’Addario Foundation congratulates the students and teachers involved in the D’Addario Harmony Program Lesson Program for presenting their spring recital on May 17th, 2017.

These talented and hard-working students performed pieces orchestrated for their respective sections, a string quartet, and finally for the full orchestra. These pieces included impressive works by Telemann, Mozart, Webster, and guest conductor & composer, Reynard Burns.

While the school year may be coming to a close, these students have the opportunity to attend Harmony Program’s 6-week intensive summer music camp held in Manhattan.
