It’s been a great summer for students in D’Addario’s Long Island Lesson Program. Thanks to D’Addario’s Charitable Works Committee, the D’Addario Foundation was able to finance safe van transportation for our students to attend a 5-week intensive summer camp in NYC! Joining forces with students from other Harmony Program sites, nine of our LILP students participated from 9am-5pm each week day receiving orchestral, choir, music theory, instrumental technique, and fiddle instruction. That’s 200 hours of free music training!
At the end of the programming, the students and teachers exhibited their summer of hard work by holding a concert at the ROC Learning Center in lower Manhattan.
