Kyu-Hee Park was born in Incheon city, South Korea, in 1985. She started to study guitar when she was 3 years old. She won the first prize in “youth” of the National Korean Guitar Competition at 9 years old. In 2004, she started to study at the Tokyo College of Music. She participated in an opera-tour which was conducted by Maestro Seiji Ozawa. She was taught by Shin-ichi Fukuda and Kiyoshi Syomura who are Japanese leading classical guitarists. She currently studies at the Vienna Music University with Alvaro Pierri.
Kyu-hee has won many international prizes including;

2008 Printemps de la Guitare international competition 1st prize
2009 Ligita international guitar competition 1st prize

2012 Alhambra International Competition 1st prize and Audience prize
Kyu-hee made her CD debut in Japan, in 2010. Her 2 CDs “Sueno”(2010) “Sonata Noir”(2012) are highly acclaimed and moreover, the CD sales are extraordinary among the classical guitar world.
