100% of every dollar you donate to the D’Addario Foundation goes directly to supporting our partner organizations.
For over 30 years the D’Addario Foundation has been proud to support grassroots not-for-profit organizations that bring music instruction and the gift of music to those that might not otherwise have the opportunity. We support programs that bring music back to schools, provide scholarship assistance so that students can attend music schools and camps, and fund after- school music education programs that provide a safe haven for kids in disadvantaged areas. We pride ourselves on our ability to identify the finest quality programs with the deepest impact to support.
In addition the foundation honors its legacy by not only presenting some of the most talented young classical guitarists in the D’Addario Performance Series at the 92nd Street Y in New York City as well as at venues in San Francisco, but also by providing assistance to the many classical guitar organizations throughout the world that host exceptional educational events, festivals and programs.
There is a critical need now to support music education. Help us build healthier communities by investing in the positive development of children through music. A small donation will go a very long way to assist these organizations and people that work tirelessly to bring the magical experience of music to others.
We are grateful for your support and belief in our mission!
Sincerely, Suzanne D’Addario Brouder
GENERAL DONATION OR GIVE AS A GIFT
I believe in supporting the effort to make music education accessible to all. Everyone no matter their economic status should have the opportunity to receive all the benefits of playing an instrument.
I want to make a donation to support the efforts to provide access to quality music instruction programs. Please email the email@example.com with recipient contact information so they may be notified of your gift.
GEOGRAPHICALLY TARGETED FUNDING
The D’Addario Foundation is proud to support a diverse range of programs. Grants have been awarded to different community based music education organizations in 47 out of the 50 United States and in over 54 countries. If you would like to support programming in a specific area, please let us know and we will insure that your funding is dedicated to those efforts and you receive regular reports about their progress.
I want to dedicate my support to scholarship assistance so that students who could not afford to attend a more advanced music school or program will have the opportunity to do so. D’Addario has provided scholarship assistance to attend the Musician’s Institute, Berklee Summer Music Workshop, Usdan, Crown of the Continent Guitar Festival and many more.
GET KIDS OFF WAITING LISTS
I want to support the effort to get students off waiting lists of the best community based music education programs so those students will be able to begin to receive all of the benefits of exposure to active participation in music and have a safe, nuturing haven during after-school hours.
EL SISTEMA PROGRAMS
Please insure my gift goes to support the over 80 El Sistema programs the D’Addario Foundation supports throughout the world.
In addition, the D’Addario Foundation in partnership with the Harmony Program runs its very own El Sistema inspired program for elementary students in the Copiague School District on Long Island, a district that has not had a string program in over 30 years. 25 students receive free instruments and instruction 3 days a week for 2 hours a day. The program also extends into the summer months to provide quality, intense music training.
GIVE AS A MEMORIAL
I would like to make a donation in memory of someone. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with recipient contact information so they may be notified of your gift.
