Rupert Boyd, Australia Appearing on October 20, 2011 Australian born guitarist Rupert Boyd is acclaimed as one of the most talented guitarists of his generation. He has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, France, England and Australia, and has been described by The Washington Post as "truly evocative", and by Classical Guitar Magazine as "a player who deserves to be heard."
In addition to winning the Andrés Segovia award from the Manhattan School of Music, Rupert Boyd was a winner of the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition and winner of the Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition, the latter of which resulted in a performance of Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez with orchestra, conducted by Lawrence Leighton Smith.
Rupert Boyd holds a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) degree from the Australian National University School of Music, a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and an Artist Diploma degree from the Yale University School of Music. His major teachers have been Timothy Kain, David Leisner and Ben Verdery.
Rupert Boyd currently resides in New York City. He is represented in North America by Dan McDaniel, LLC and exclusively plays D'Addario strings.
Eduardo Minozzi Costa, Brazil Appearing on October 20, 2011 Eduardo Minozzi Costa completed his Bachelor's Degree in guitar performance at Brazil's leading University, The University of São Paulo, under Dr. Edelton Gloeden. Eduardo was awarded a cultural visit to the USA under the sponsorship of the São Paulo United States Consulate General and resulted in a successful audition at the University of Arizona and a full scholarship to pursue both Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Guitar Performance. He has been a Teaching Assistant (GTA) to Professor Thomas Patterson in the School of Music at the University of Arizona since 2006.
While in the United States, Eduardo has won six prestigious guitar competitions, the most recent one being the Alhambra International Guitar Competition in Dallas, Texas in May, 2010. In 2010 Eduardo received third prize at the Guitar Foundation of America competition.
In 2009 Eduardo was named the Outreach Director of the Tucson Guitar Society (TGS) and the Artistic Director in 2010. Eduardo is very proud to have just completed a major project called: "Pathways to Guitar Excellence ©". This is a step-by-step system for achieving results in guitar performance sponsored by the Medici Foundation.
Johannes Möller, Sweden Appearing on February 2, 2012 The Swedish guitarist and composer Johannes Möller has captivated audiences throughout the world with charismatic and soulful performances. After playing his first public concerts at the age of 13, his performances now total over 500 and span Europe, Asia, South and North America. In 2010 he was awarded first prize in the GFA Concert Artist Competition, considered by many to be the most prestigious guitar competition in the world, resulting in a 50-concert tour and a recording with the Naxos label.
At the age of 12 as a self-taught composer Johannes experienced an outburst of creativity that resulted in a large quantity of pieces that were performed and recorded with great critical acclaim. A selection of these works was recorded on a CD with some of the top instrumentalists in Sweden when he was 14 years old.
Johannes has earned a Bachelor's of Music with Honors from the Royal College of Music in London where he studied guitar with Gary Ryan and Carlos Bonell and composition with William Mival. He has received a master's degree from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague where he studied with Zoran Dukic. He also received a scholarship from the Royal Conservatoire that allowed him to study privately with Pavel Steidl in the Czech Republic as well as composition lessons with Dusan Bogdanovic in the USA. He completed a second Masters degree at the Conservatoire in Amsterdam where he studied guitar with Lex Eisenhardt and composition with Richard Ayers.
Cecilio Perera, Mexico Appearing on February 2, 2012 Cecilio was born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico in 1983. He started to play guitar at the age of nine with his brother Pedro Perera. He studied with Ricardo Vega at the music school in his town, and began to give concerts. From 1999 to 2005 Cecilio studied at Xalapa University of Music with Consuelo Bolio and Alfredo Sanchez.
He has attended many international festivals taking master classes with John Williams, David Russell, Angel Romero, Joaquin Clerch, Remi Boucher, Juan Carlos Laguna, Julio César Oliva, Paolo Pegoraro, Pavel Steidl, among others.
Cecilio has accompanied several orchestras such as the Cuba National Orchestra, UNAM Philarmonic Orchestra, Yucatan Symphony Orchestra, Xalapa Chamber Music Orchestra, Acapulco Philarmonic Orchestra, Chihuahua Philarmonic Orchestra, Salzburg Youth Philarmonic Orchestra, Italian Orchestra Academia Musical Naonis, Merida Chamber Music Orchestra, Almería Symphony Orchestra. Cecilio has performed all over the world and has enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with famous composers who dedicated guitar works to him.
His repertoire ranges from renaissance on the lute to contemporary music, playing with flute, voice, string quartet, and other combinations.

Edel Muñoz, Cuba Appearing on March 15, 2012 "Edel Muñoz showcases the quality of the new generation, he has an exceptional professionalism, in other words magisterial; it is really surprising" Leo Brouwer
Edel Muñoz began his guitar studies at the age of 7 and graduated in 1994 at the National School of Music of Havana. He was only 20 years old when he won the First Prize at the prestigious International Competition and Festival de Guitarra de La Habana, presided by Leo Brouwer.
He has won numerous first prizes and other awards at competitions throughout the world over the last 17 years including: Montreal International Classical Guitar Festival and Competition, Canada; II International Miguel Llobet Guitar Competition, Barcelona, Spain; and most recently he was awarded top honors at the 2011 Boston Guitar Fest International Competition.
As an increasingly sought-after teacher, he has been invited to give master classes in a number of universities and conservatories in the USA and Canada.

Rovshan Mamedkuliev, Russia Appearing on March 15, 2012 Rovshan Mamedkuliev was born on May 12, 1986 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He started his studies in classical guitar at the age of 11 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. In 2004 he entered the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatoire and graduated with honors in 2009.
At present Rovshan Mamedkuliev is a post-graduate student at the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatoire where he also teaches. In 2011 he recorded the CD "Con Anima" a solo program.
Rovshan Mamedkuliev has received honors at international festivals and competitions in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and others. Most notably, Rovshan recently won first prize at the 2011 International Guitar Competition "Heitor Villa-Lobos" Salamanca, Spain. In 2010 he was awarded first prize solo recital at the 11th International Guitar Competition and Festival Paris, France. In 2009 he received third prize at the International Guitar Competition Moscow, Russia, second prize at the International Guitar Competition and Festival Sernancelhe, Portugal, and first prize at the 10th International Guitar Competition named after A.K.Frauchi Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
